If I have not expressed this lately, I would like to say that I am very honored to be the Pastor/Priest/Rector here. St. Augustine’s is an awesome place for ministry. Kim and I have been welcomed, embraced and loved here and it is fantastic. We are very grateful – so thank you all for all your support – please don’t stop! We look forward to where the spirit will lead us in this place moving forward. We are indeed blessed.
Fatefully, our next-door neighbors on McClure are missionaries or at least going to be missionaries. Chris and Casey Willis have four young kids. The Willis family will be moving to Arua, Uganda to help to bring hope to the Sudanese Refugees there -- through Warren Baptist Church and the Khayamandi Foundation. Chris and Casey have committed themselves for 3 years! Wow! That is a long time in the life of a young family. There is a picture the Willis family on our bulletin board. Please check it out. I have given them $500.00 from my discretionary funds and we have added them to our weekly prayers. As you may or may not know, the area they are going is very dangerous.
